The ceramics and pottery we feature are not available online anywhere else in the world, and in most cases are not even for sale at any other retail locations besides Celestial Creations.  We do not have all our items on this page, let alone for sale in our online store, but please email or call with any inquiries you may have.  We are always happy to take digital photos of any items and email them to you for your consideration.  Click on the artisan's name to go directly to their page on our online shopping cart.  Thanks!

House of Chimes, located in Organ, New Mexico, USA
(wind chimes, mugs, tiles, trivets, coasters, spoonrests, kokopellis, chilis / chiles, lizards, geckos, frogs, turtles, horny toads) All molds and decals are owned by owners Sharon and Montie Jarvies.  I have been to their small wholesale manufacturing facility and can verify that each piece is hand-crafted from scratch.  They mix their own sand mixture to make their clay, pour, fire, decal, glaze etc. over the course of four days.  We can offer many of these items with your choice of the following lettering:  "New Mexico" or "Truth or Consequences".  We will be happy to work with you on custom or large orders.  Here is their statement:

"Here at the House of Chimes, we have are proud to present some of the most famous images of the southwest, those in the greatest demand by those who appreciate the beauty and unique culture of America's desert southwest.  ALL our products are 100% hand-made right here in New Mexico, USA in our very own shop!

Our products are designed to stand up to the rigors of harsh desert exposure. We make our own clay, we pour our own molds. Each piece must dry for at least 24 hours, is then cleaned by hand and fired for the first time. They are then glazed, by hand, and fired again. Any special decals are then applied and the item is fired for a third time. Only then is the item complete and is ready for final assembly and shipping.  Each firing takes 6 hours of baking time and 18 hours of cooling time, so you can see that each individual piece take about 4 days to complete.

Our Wind Chimes have been 70 mile per hour winds, snow, rain and just about any other weather condition you can think of. You can put them in your dishwasher to clean them or just soap and water in the sink. Don't use the DRY cycle on the dishwasher, though, it might shorten the life of the cord."

The Treasure Chest, Fairfield, New Mexico
(Coffee cups or mugs and plates with exclusive Native American-style designs such as Kokopellis, Mimbres and Cliff-dweller drawings, these items are microwave and dishwasher safe.  Each comes in its own gift box with a story of the pattern style used.)  Owned by a single woman who strictly wholesales these plates and mugs featuring her own designs.
