Celestial Creations- Original Art

Celestial Creations represents numerous local and regional artists, including several Sierra County artists & artisans. We believe that art doesn't always have to be ridiculously expensive and pride ourselves on bringing you accessibly priced art that you can enjoy now and for years to come. We even offer layaway plans!

Here are some of the artists we represent with their preferred media:

Regeana Keech of Truth or Consequences, NM started painting as a way to keep her spirits up when she was diagnosed with cancer back in 2004. She works in acrylics and has mastered the difficult 'wrap around' painting technique; you don't have to worry about framing her work as the sides of the canvases are painted, too!

Dee Boman of Nature's Wisdom Healing Images of Truth or Consequences, NM works in water-based oils. Dee moved to T or C recently from Tularosa, New Mexico. She feels her work has a spiritual side to, and each piece is accompanied by the story of how she was feeling or inspired when painting it; sometimes she even tells what her musical inspiration was! Here is a quote from Dee herself about her work: "The images that I paint are created to be meditated upon - to bring the viewer deeper into their own consciousness. 'Great Spirit' has inspired me to paint images designed to be meditated upon - creating a safe passage into the inner core of each viewer. My art expresses my own growing feeling of truly being a Child of God and my hope is that these images will echo in the hearts of others to activate their own Inner Child of God. From this place of inner peace, may we experience the divine connection of all living things ... reflecting the oneness and compassion inherent in our Mother Earth . Thank you for your interest in my healing images."

Danny Springer, Studio D (D for Divine) of Truth or Consequences, NM. Danny's art is abstract but very inspirational. His work evokes different visions and images for different viewers. Not only is art in the eye of the beholder, but what the art is depicting is in the eye of the beholder as well.

Mark Humble of Truth or Consequences, NM paints in oils. Mark is a man of many talents, not only painting beautiful images from his travels, but sometimes building a custom frame for one of his pieces, sometimes playing guitar music of his own composition at local venues. Mark has played at many of Celestial Creations receptions.

Janet Smith of Truth or Consequences, NM paints in acrylics. Janet paints for the love of it and likes to keep her prices reasonable so that everyone can enjoy her art in their home or office.

Skeeter Leard of San Antonio, NM is part owner of Fullingim-Isenhour
& Leard Galleries in Socorro, NM. Skeeter has twice been chosen by the National Wildlife Refuge to paint their annual awareness art. She has painted designs for Hallmark Cards for decades, for Saga Card Company Cards for years and is also owner of her own line of art cards. Celestial Creations is proud to have been chosen by Skeeter to represent her art in Sierra County.

Jade Herrera, formerly of Las Vegas, New Mexico has relocated to the central coast of California, but Celestial Creations still has some of the paintings she completed before moving on. Jade works in acrylic and mixed media, calling here mixed media pieces 'touchable art' as they have seven layers of clear acrylic over them for protection. Her painting styles include southwestern and a neo-realistic stained glass look.
